Free Imagination
This gallery below displays paintings that were produced from “free imagination”. The first piece, “Thinking of Another” was prompted by a 50’s black and white photograph, and “Odalisques” was prompted by a 19th century piece of orientalism – but the remaining pieces are brought free from my imagination without reference.

“Mythology Revisited”. A series of pieces revisiting mythology from the past, and inventing new ones for the present. Acryllic, gouache, pencil and ink.
A series of melodramas inspired by mythology and operatic scale.
